The Bank was registered on 08/09/1975 as a co-operative Society and started functioning on 03/11/1975. The society came under Banking Regulation Act on 1986 by the hard work of the then Board of Directors headed by Sri.Vasudevan Nair together with the bank staff by competing the largest Service Co-operative Bank in this area. Suceeding Board of Directors also rendred their support and co-operation for the growth of this bank. Now the bank has Thirteen branches and Head Office and has attained a working capital of Rs.351.52 Crore . The area of operation of the bank is the whole of Sulthan Bathery Taluk.
